Is there any significance in that a husbands time after Esha is for his wife

Q: Is there any significance in that a husbands time after Esha is for his wife?

A: It is imperative for the husband to spend good quality time with his family and children apart from his normal routine, and he does not neglect them in their Tarbiyat and showing them the right Deeni values. It is not acceptable for a husband to engage in futile chit chat and games at the expense of spending family time. However, if he has to go out for valid reasons e.g. a Deeni programme, some exercise or acceptable form of recreation etc. then this would be acceptable provided that he is not neglecting his duties at home which include spending time with his family. In this case, he should clearly inform them of the time and place of the programme and expected time of return so as to avoid causing the family anxiety about his whereabouts.

And Allah Ta'ala Knows Best
