Following the recent killing of 7 aid organisation members in the Gaza Strip via air strikes, world powers have condemned Israel’s actions.

This tragedy has renewed criticism of Israel’s conduct in the war, especially highlighting the difficult task of providing aid in Gaza as of this time, in which experts claim nearly a third of the population will soon suffer from starvation.

“It demonstrates yet again the urgent need for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire, the unconditional release of all hostages, and the expansion of humanitarian aid into Gaza,” UN Secretary-General; Antonio Guterres; said in his speech to the UN General Assembly.
