In October, major construction upgrades along the N3 will begin, which are expected to take up to 4 years to complete.

The R4.7 billion project will include the construction of extra lanes, as well as the widening of the Westville and Paradise Valley viaducts.

“The project includes provision of additional one to two lanes but in some sections, as you approach the Westville interchange at Pavilion there will be additional lances as part of the overall upgrade,” it was stated on East Coast Radio.
