In a statement from the General Authority of Civil Aviation, the number of passengers for this year’s Hajj season increased over 86% compared to the previous year, 2022.
The season saw a successful Hajj with the Kingdom’s airports transporting 3.2 million passengers through 102 different airlines.
The flight statistics for the Hajj season ranked Indonesia as the top country for pilgrims traveling in and out the Kingdom, followed by India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Nigeria, respectively.
