Zainab is a mother of three children. Her husband earns a low salary which cannot provide for all the needs of their family. In order to contribute to the needs of her family – especially in these times of costly living expenses – Zainab runs a home industry business making biscuits and edible ‘delights.’
However, for her venture to be more profitable she needed to be more productive. Consequently, this required more capital and equipment.
The MEF provided Zainab with a capital injection of twenty thousand Rand, including the purchase of essential equipment.
Alhamdulillah, Zainab’s business has subsequently expanded making it easier for her to provide for the growing needs of her family.
