Darul Ihsan’s ‘Home Improvement’ Project provides general maintenance to homes that require essential repairs such fixing of leaks, waterproofing, roofing, plastering, basic extensions, etc. There are many families who have no means or hope of repairing their existing homes.
On Saturday, 20 April the first ‘Accounting Made Easy - Using Excel’ course and on Tuesday, 23 April the ‘Basic Electrical Course’ was conducted at the Darul Ihsan Centre office, Gem Towers, Overport.
UMTATA: Torrential rains have swept across parts of the Eastern Cape causing heavy floods. The downpours and subsequent flooding has claimed 10 lives. Hundreds of displaced people are being housed in various halls around Mthatha (Umtata) and are being helped with food and clothing. It is estimated that at least 400 homes have been affected by flooding.
