On Monday, 3rd February 2025, the Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre donated a wheelchair to the Northdale Clinic in Pietermaritzburg. This was as a result of consultation with the management which was meeting a dire need at the facility.
In recognition of the high rate of unemployment and lack of practical skills, the Al Ihsan Skills Academy has carefully planned, prepared, and organised the ‘Vegetable Garden Project’.
The Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre held a program and panel discussion at Masjid us Salaam, Musgrave in Durban. The panel discussion was held on Thursday evening, the 20th February 2025 after Esha Salah.
The Youth of the Ummah Tool Day course was successfully held at Al Falaah College for Grade 3 and 4 learners. The program was aimed at empowering young minds with practical skills and guidance for personal development while also promoting productivity.
On Sunday 16th February 2025, a program was held at Musjid Bilal Castlehill, Newlands themed 'Preparation for Ramadan.'
On Thursday last week, 13 February, the Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre’s ‘Feed the Needy’ team conducted meal distributions across areas of greater Durban.

The Fiqhud Dawah Forum was formed under the auspices of Darul Ihsan Centre as a platform to identify and discuss contemporary challenges faced by Ulama and Dawah workers mainly in the townships and rural areas.

On Saturday, 25 January, the Daughters of the Ummah (DOU) youth group hosted their first inspiring programme for the year titled ‘Mu’minah 101’ at Al Falaah College, Springfield, Durban.
The Youth of the Ummah’s 15th Youth Camp, held at Seula Zimbili in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN), was a transformative and spiritually enriching event designed to inspire and uplift the Muslim youth. The camp, which ran over 3 days i.e. 3,4,5 of December 2024, was loaded with fun filled activities and guided by Islamic teachings.
On the evening of Thursday, 28th November 2024, the 8th Al Ihsan Qiraat event was held at Masjid ul Fatah in La Lucia, Durban. The program, themed "The Noble Qur'an: Our Source of Strength & Resilience," commenced after Maghrib Salah.
During the last week of November, the Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre’s ‘Feed the Needy’ team distributed a total of almost 2,200 hot meals throughout the Quarry Road, Newlands, Castle Hill, Edwin Swales, Lamontville, and Kenville areas.
On Saturday afternoon, 23 November, the Daughters of the Ummah (DOU) youth group hosted an event titled ‘Az-Zahra: Blooming in Motion’ at Madrasah Ihsan, Sea Cow Lake, Durban. The event saw a staggering attendance of almost 60 Muslimahs aged between 9-15.
On Saturday, 2nd November 2024, Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre's held its 11th Learner Development Programme (LDP). The program, aimed at educating the community on essential practices, focused on the Sunnah Method of Bathing, Shrouding, and Burial of a Muslim.
