During the fasting period, 200 boxes of dates were received and distributed throughout prisons in the Western Cape.
This initiative contributed greatly to those in need and offered a turning point in the lives of many Muslim offenders. The assistance left an unforgettable impression on their hearts, and the respective leaders stressed the importance of the help it provided to these forgotten communities.
For several years, the centre has continued to work closely with the National Muslim Prison Board SA and has been distributing dates annually across these facilities.
The Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre remains dedicated to providing spiritual, emotional, and financial support to struggling communities. With the help and guidance of Allah, the centre hopes to continue building in these initiatives and to foster the brilliant spirit of Islam.
