On Sunday, 17 September 2023, the Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre (DHC) successfully hosted a Da'wah programme at Masjid Bilal in Castlehill, Newlands West.

The event started at 10:30 AM and saw an attendance of 40 men and 20 women from the Newlands West area.

Qari Usama Seif of Tanzania and a resident student at Jamiah Al Ihsan opened the event with a short recitation from the Noble Qur'an, followed by guest speaker Shaykh Ismail Dlamini who addressed the attendees on the importance of holding steadfast onto Islam.

After a short refreshment break a session of Zikr and Azkaar was held, and thereafter Maulana Musa Phiri delivered a thought-provoking lecture to the guests.

The event concluded with a dua by Hafez Adam Huzaifa, followed by Zuhr Salah and lunch for all present.
