Darul Ihsan Humanitarian Centre hosted the third Al Ihsan Clinic and Wellness Day for 2023 at Anjuman Islamic Madrasah, Tongaat on Sunday, 10 September 2023. A total of 190 patients attended the event, which was headed by volunteer Dr. Zaheed Khan, along with the medical team which included an audiologist, optometrist, three pharmacists, ten nursing assistants, and seven Darul Ihsan staff members.

The Wellness Day began at 9:00, where 70 senior citizen patients were promptly registered. Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar tests were taken and they were provided free medication and prescriptions where required. Medical referrals were also provided for patients requiring additional advice and attention.

Refreshments and hot lunch packs were handed to all participants, as the programme drew to a close. The Anjuman Islamic Madrasah staff were grateful and impressed by the planning, organisation, and presentation of the event.

Darul Ihsan personnel expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Anjuman Islam Trust for hosting this programme at the historical premises. Many thanks were also extended to all volunteers for their excellent and dedicated medical and social services to the Tongaat community.
