Q: If one were to vomit due to the gagging sensation when doing a covid19 swab test, will this break the fast?

A: Since the test is not carried out in order to deliberately induce vomit, if one does vomit after or during the test this will not invalidate the fast. In such a case, the fast will only break if the vomit was a mouthful and some of it is swallowed intentionally.

NB: A “mouthful" is that amount of substance that cannot be held in one’s mouth.
